  1. Indian Citizenship: Candidates must be citizens of India.
  2. Other Categories: Candidates from Nepal or Bhutan must possess a Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Government of India. Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before January 1962 are also eligible. Individuals of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanent settlement in India are eligible.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or an equivalent qualification. However, specific posts may have additional educational requirements:

  • Assistant Audit Officer: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute. Desirable qualifications include CA, Cost & Management Accountant, Company Secretary, Masters in Commerce, Masters in Business Studies, Masters in Business Administration (Finance), or Masters in Business Economics.
  • Statistical Investigator Grade-II: Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as a subject at the graduation level OR Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks in Mathematics in Class 12th.
  • Compiler Posts: Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics as a compulsory or elective subject.

Application Fees:

As part of the online registration process, candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 100/-. However, certain categories such as women candidates, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Ex-Servicemen (ESM), and Persons with Disability (PWD) candidates are exempted from paying the fee.

Candidates can pay the application fee through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit, or Debit cards. Alternatively, they can also pay in cash at designated SBI Branches using an SBI Challan.
